Studio Policies
Sukha Yoga is a small, independently owned studio with locations in Austin, Texas. These policies help us sustain the spaces, pay our teachers fairly, and continue offering the experience our community deserves. We appreciate your support and understanding.
Memberships and Auto-renewing Class Packs.
Unlimited Membership Commitment & Auto-Renewal
3, 6, and 12-month memberships have a set commitment period.
The Freedom Flow Membership is month-to-month with no commitment, but requires 10 days’ cancellation notice.
All memberships auto-renew as a month to month pass at the end of your commitment period until you provide written notice to cancel.
Cancelling Your Membership
After your commitment period ends, your membership rolls over to month-to-month and requires 30 days’ written notice to cancel.
Freedom Flow requires 10 days’ written notice or 10 days minimum via your account.
If less than the required notice is given, one final payment will process before cancellation.

Pausing Your Membership
Pauses are available only after your initial commitment period is complete and your membership has rolled over to month-to-month.
One 30-day pause is allowed per year to keep your rate.
Pausing preserves your current membership rate.
Membership Refunds
Memberships are non-refundable. Your membership is a personal commitment and investment in your practice. Payments made during your commitment period cannot be refunded for any reason, including unused classes, schedule changes, or personal circumstances.
Class Bookings
Pre-booking through our app or website is preferred to guarantee your spot. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows
Please cancel at least 6 hours before class to avoid losing your credit.
Class pack holders: No-shows result in a lost credit.
Unlimited members: Recurring missed classes may incur a $5 no-show fee.
Some class packs at Sukha Yoga are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions at a discounted rate. If you purchased an auto-renewing pack, the following terms apply:
Pricing & Why Auto-Renewal
Auto-renewing packs are offered at a reduced rate in exchange for a minimum renewal commitment
5 Class Auto-Renew: $99 (vs. $150 for a standard 5-class pack)
10 Class Auto-Renew: $210 (vs. $260 for a standard 10-class pack)
Minimum Commitment
All auto-renewing class packs require a minimum of 2 renewal cycles before cancellation is permitted
Cancellation requests received before 2 renewals have processed will not be honored until the 2nd renewal has completed
This minimum exists to honor the discounted rate extended at time of purchase
How Auto-Renewal Works
Your pack automatically renews once all class credits are used, or at the end of your renewal period — whichever comes first
Credits are applied at the moment of class sign-up, not at check-in
You will be charged the same rate as your original purchase to your card on file
Cancellation Policy
After your 2-renewal minimum is complete, cancellation requires 30 days' written notice to namaste@sukhayogaaustin.com
If a renewal processes before written notice is received, that renewal is non-refundable
Once cancellation is confirmed via email from our team, no further renewals will occur
No Refunds or Proration
Auto-renewing class packs are non-refundable
No transfers, proration, or credits are offered for unused classes at time of cancellation
Remaining classes at cancellation are available through the end of that paid renewal period
By purchasing an auto-renewing class pack, you acknowledge and agree to these terms, including the minimum 2-renewal commitment.Class Packs
All class packs expire 6 months from the date of purchase. Note Exceptions: Seasonal Specials which will have their own unique expiration date and terms. These seasonal specials cannot be re-activated and must be used in the time frame shared in description offer.
Class packs are non-refundable.
Packs may be shared with immediate family members only (child, parent, or partner).
Expired class reactivation: (excludes Seasonal Specials, Promos, Discounts) If you purchase a new class pack, we’ll reactivate your expired credits from any regularly priced class pack for an additional 6 months. Email namaste@sukhayogaaustin.com after purchase to request reactivation.
Workshops, Events, Trainings & Retreats
These are live, limited-capacity experiences. When you register, we commit to our teachers, venues, and materials on your behalf. Because of this:
All sales are final. No refunds are offered once a deposit or payment is made. Please purchase confidently.
Registrations are non-transferable and cannot be applied as credit toward other programs, trainings, or events.
All credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
Please arrive on time for each session. Dress for comfort and ease.
Teacher Trainings & Workshops
Registering for a Sukha Yoga teacher training or workshop is a commitment to the full program. These experiences are planned well in advance with contracted teachers, reserved time at each location, printed materials, and limited enrollment. Because of this:
All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable
If you choose to withdraw or discontinue participation at any point, you remain responsible for the full tuition balance
Stopping attendance, pausing participation, or personal circumstances do not release the financial obligation
No credits, rollovers, or transfers to future programs will be issued
Registrations cannot be applied toward other offerings, memberships, or class packs
Why this policy exists: When you register, we make immediate financial commitments on your behalf to lead teachers, guest instructors, venue holds, and printed materials. Your spot is held exclusively for you, which means another student was turned away. The full tuition reflects the full cost of that commitment regardless of your attendance.
By registering and submitting any payment, you agree to the full tuition obligation outlined at time of enrollment.
Retreats
Retreat registrations involve advance financial commitments made to retreat centers, accommodations, and contracted teachers on your behalf. All retreat payments are subject to the following cancellation terms:
More than 60 days before departure:
No further payments are due upon written cancellation request
All deposits and payments made to date are non-refundable and non-transferable
No credit, rollover, or account balance will be issued
60 days or less before departure:
The full retreat balance becomes due and non-refundable
No cancellations, credits, transfers, or rollovers will be accepted
This applies regardless of personal circumstances, including illness, travel disruption, or schedule changes
Why this policy exists: Retreat centers require us to guarantee and pay for each registered guest's spot, regardless of whether that guest attends. Once we are within 60 days of departure, those costs are fully committed and cannot be recovered. We are unable to absorb the financial loss of a cancellation at that stage.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in the event of an emergency.
By submitting any deposit or payment toward a retreat, you acknowledge and agree to these cancellation terms in full.By participating, you agree to practice within your comfort level and honor your body’s signals. You understand that yoga, breathwork, meditation, and self-inquiry can bring up emotions, and you agree to seek additional support if needed. You acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and assume full responsibility for your health and well-being throughout the experience.

A Note About Chargebacks
We understand that billing and purchase questions come up, and we’re always happy to help. Please reach out to us at namaste@sukhayogaaustin.com before contacting your bank or credit card company.
As a small, independently owned studio, chargebacks (disputed charges) have a real and significant impact on our business. Each chargeback incurs fees, affects our standing with payment processors, and takes time and resources away from our community.
Chargebacks filed in conflict with these published policies will be contested with full documentation, including proof of purchase, policy acknowledgment, and service delivery.
Accounts associated with disputed charges may be suspended pending resolution. We believe in transparency and fairness, and we ask that you extend the same to us by communicating directly before initiating a dispute.

These policies are effective as of December 2024 and apply to all purchases made at Sukha Yoga. By purchasing any class, pack, membership, or event registration, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.
