Infrared Sukha Flow — Our Signature Heated Class

Sukha is a Sanskrit word meaning good space, ease, and peace. That's exactly what this class is designed to give you. Sukha Flow is an open-level Vinyasa-based practice that weaves together many traditions, methods, and threads of inspiration to create a potent, feel-good yoga experience for physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. Expect an intelligent, fluid sequence built around the breath and awareness. You’ll moving through Vinyasa flow sequencing including standing and seated postures, with your breath as both anchor and meditative focus.

What makes a Sukha Flow Yoga class distinct is what happens when your teacher offers from their own heart and presence. No scripts, no memorizing a set sequence, instead each Sukha Yoga Austin teacher brings their own sparkle, which means every class is genuinely fresh. You'll find your mind and heart opened in new ways each time you practice.

You're also always invited to pause, rest, or amplify throughout class, all according to what you need that day. This is your practice. Sukha Yoga has been evolving for over 11 years, and this class reflects everything we've learned about what a feel-good, transformative yoga experience can be.

Power Vinyasa — Heated & Non-Heated

For practitioners looking for more intensity, our Power Vinyasa classes turn up the heat — literally and physically. Expect a stronger, more athletic sequence that builds heat quickly, challenges strength and endurance, and still closes with the breath awareness and presence that's at the heart of every Sukha class.

Power Vinyasa is available in both infrared heated and non-heated formats depending on location and class time.

Why Infrared Heat — Not Traditional Hot Yoga

Traditional hot yoga studios pump hot air into the room, often reaching 100°F or higher with heavy humidity. Infrared is different. Our panels use radiant heat that penetrates into your muscles and joints rather than just heating the air around you. The result is a room that feels warm and enveloping without being suffocating.

If you've tried traditional hot yoga and it wasn't for you, infrared may surprise you. Many of our students who struggled in forced-air hot rooms find infrared heated classes far more comfortable, effective, and enjoyable.

For students managing chronic inflammation, joint stiffness, or autoimmune conditions, infrared heat can be especially supportive. It's one of the reasons we brought it to Sukha Yoga Austin. Our founder, Erinn Arizcorreta experienced the benefits personally before installing the panels at our studios.
